Trueman is a qualified lawyer experienced in international commercial contracts and in general corporate commercial matters. During a decade-long experience working in the region (including UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar), Trueman advised corporates and individual in setting-up of companies, franchises, agencies, distributorships, and joint ventures. Having previously worked in international law firm and multinational companies (Bank, and IT company) in the region, Trueman gained experience in drafting and negotiation a variety of contracts; including sale and purchase agreements, loan agreements, partnerships, memorandum of understandings, technology transfers, licenses, mortgages, joint ventures, franchise suits, non-disclosure agreements etc. He is well-versed in intellectual property matters and has advised clients in the protection and commercialization of intellectual property in the region and wider middle east. Trueman also advised on setting-up of offshore companies and provided assistance in conducting arbitration and various other dispute resolution mechanisms, including enforcement of awards and judgments.
Trueman is having a master degree in Intellectual Property Rights and bachelor degrees in both Law and Economics. He is also a trained compliance professional for financial institutions.
